EDUCATION:
Graduated from the Gordon Institute of TAFE, with a Diploma of Arts, Graphic Art.
Graduated from the North Melbourne Institute of TAFE, with Diploma of Arts, Illustration.

WORK EXPERIENCE:
2009:
Commissioned by Cengage Learning to illustrate an eight page story. This story was integrated in a book titled PM Writing 4 - An Alien World.

2008: Commissioned by Cengage Learning to illustrate a 12 page comic. This comic tells the story of Captain Roberts Scotts journey to the South Pole. The comic forms part of a book titled Race to the South Pole. The book was released in 2009. Commissioned by UC Publishing to illustrate a 14 page full colour childrens book titled The Red Suitcase. The book is being distributed by Oxford University Press.

2007: Contributed illustrations to book titled Conceived on a Tram. The book is being distributed by Hardy Grant.

2006: Founding member of "Hungry", which is a quarterly released zine that displays the work of six illustrators. Illustrations published in "Is Not Magazine". Created DL brochure and logo for walking tour company "Victourious Adventures". Designed logo and business card for "Recycling Paradise" collectables.

2005: Created logo and concept design for costumes in "Einstein's Sister", directed by Kass Uren.

2004: Assisted in the creation of a logo for the Major Drug Investigation Division of Victorian. Daniel and a colleague designed a DL brochure promoting Illustration students. Designed graphic props for "Popsi" directed by Kass Uren.

2002: Designed a web site and introductory animation for Advance Record Management. Responsible for the finished art on a brochure for Stagecoach productions.

2001: Designed a logo and mascot for Stowaway Storage. Member of a team of three design students from the Gordon TAFE. This team was responsible for the production of an educational CD ROM on the history of Geelong.

EXHIBITIONS AND AWARDS:
2009: Nominated for the Most Original Illustration of the Year at the Desktop Create awards.

2008: Contributed to a group exhibition titled Pictures from the Heart. This exhibition was held for one week at the Box Hill Community Arts Centre.

2007: Participated in group exhibition held at the Artery Gallery in Fitzroy.

2006: Participated in three group exhibitions held at The Little Rebel Bar in the months of April, July and October. These exhibitions were used to promote the new issues of the publication The Hungry Zine.
3D pieces created by Daniel featured in the Picturesque exhibition at the Festival Club in the Melbourne Town Hall, as part of the Melbourne Fringe Festival.

2004: Samples of Daniel's artwork were used to promote the annual exhibition of the NMIT and Chisholm TAFE's illustration students. Samples of Daniel's works were published in MX, to promote an illustration exhibition.
